Homebrewers Club Grows!

Posted

After brewing a double batch of Weeping Willow Wit, and scarfing down some delivered pizza, it was time to unwind. As you might know, the first Wednesday of every month at precisely 7p, an assortment of beer obsessed guys and gals assemble at Mother Earth Brewing for a Homebrew Club meeting. Last night was no exception.
Our turn-out is growing, and while the group is diverse in homebrewing experience, everyone shares a craze for good beer. A selection of homebrews was offered for sampling, and I brought in two unique beers for the group to try; Goose Island Matilda (a Belgian Pale Ale) and Goose Island Bourbon County Stout (a Bourbon Barrel-Aged Imperial Stout.)
If you’re a homebrewer, or think you might like to be, please feel free to join us. Next month we’ll be deciding on the club name (we’ve got some excellent options) and no doubt be exchanging thoughts on the good, the bad and the ugly of recent homebrewing experiences, and tasting some more excellent brews. RSVP to me at: josh@motherearthbrewing.com if you’d like to join us. -Josh
