Mother Earth Brewing in Kinston just celebrated its first year in operation by growing.  The company moved into more buildings surrounding its home office on the corner of heritage and north streets.  Mother Earth is already distributing beer and plans to open it’s own tap room in just a few weeks.  Brewers say they are fortunate to have a thriving business in today’s economy.

Trent Mooring/President, Mother Earth Brewery: “I think there’s a great market for it. I think that people in Eastern North Carolina, I think it’s a tight-knit community and i think people around here are really enthusiastic toward other eastern North Carolina businesses”
Mother Earth is also making more strides for it’ eco-friendly establishment by putting up solar panels to help provide energy to the brewery.
