Mother Earth Brewing to release new beer - Park Day Bohemian Style Pilsner

Today, Mother Earth Brewing announced to release a new beer into distribution. The beer will be called Park Day Bohemian Style Pilsner.

Brew Master, Josh D. Brewer commented, “Our traditional Bohemian style Pilsner is brewed with Weyermann Bohemian Pilsner malt and tettnang hops. Straw in color, this light-bodied, 4.8% session beer, offers a floral malty nose and a clean, crisp, malty hop taste. Enjoy Park Day for a day in the park or all year long.”

Distribution begins in early March, 2014 and will be packaged in 12 ounce cans and kegs and will be available in North Carolina, Georgia, Washington D.C., and Northern Virginia.  Park Day Bohemian Style Pilsner was awarded a bronze medal at the 2013 Great American Beer Festival in Denver, Colorado.

Mother Earth Brewing President, E. Trent Mooring commented, “We are very pleased and excited about the release of Park Day just in time for the warmer weather. With all the outdoor activities going on in the South, it made a lot of sense for us to offer a session beer in a can for people to enjoy in places where glass bottles can’t go.”

Mother Earth Brewing was founded by Stephen Hill and Trent Mooring in 2008. Soon after, they added Brew Master, Josh D. Brewer to the team and within months, an old downtown building was repurposed into a brewery.  Mother Earth Brewing began to bottle and keg their beer in October of 2009. Today, just over four and a half years after production of their first batch of beer, Mother Earth Brewing counts on a team of eighteen people to keep up with production. Mother Earth Brewing enjoys over 4,000 accounts, and can be found in bars, restaurants, supermarkets and specialty stores across North Carolina, Georgia, Northern Va. and Washington, DC.  Mother Earth Brewing is the first Gold L.E.E.D. ® certified production brewery in the United States. The brewery and Taproom are located at 311 North Heritage Street Kinston, NC 28501. More information can be found at www.motherearthbrewing.com.
